Sooo, first things first, if I had known amazon was going to deliver this at the END of my work day I would have just spent the same amount of money at staples and bought this, this morning. But that’s on Amazon not the manufacturer. The product itself is nice. Simple. But nice. Does the job. It’s basic, and the drawer is only suitable for a few pens and paper clips. But it’s nice. I won’t be returning it, that’s for sure. I definitely like it. I guess I was just thinking for the price it would be a little more “lux”. Price on this item really shouldn’t be more than $20 though. But again.. I do like it, definitely sturdy. Doesn’t wiggle and move around on you at all if you’re turning your monitor a lot to customers and then back to you. I just wish these had a backing plate so people can see through the back of it

The item arrived as described. It is very lightweight and is of a material a bit sturdier than plastic. The small drawer slides out and slightly angles down. You can choose from 3 levels to rise it up. I chose the highest option which raises it up 6 inches. I have a Macbook Pro so it fits nicely on top with no overlapping. Also, there is plenty of room underneath to tuck away my Anker wireless keyboard to minimize clutter. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase! I can now get rid of my make shift cardboard box stand which my laptop was previously raised up on. haha!

I got this product to elevate my TV in the bedroom to clear the objects placed on my dresser. While the view of my screen wasn't obstructed, I need a little extra height so the sensor for the remote wasn't blocked. This product is relatively sturdy, though I did miscalculate a bit and the base of my TV extends past the sides of the riser a bit. While this doesn't affect the product or the stability, it does bug me a little bit aesthetically. This riser has a built in drawer that has 3 compartments that are about 1/2" deep. If used in an office setting, I suppose they'd be great for holding paper clips or other small items of that nature. The drawer slides in and out easily enough, and tilts down a bit as it slides out for easier access. Below the drawer is an open space good for tucking small items out of the way as a makeshift cubby hole. For the price, the product seems sturdy enough and the quality is on par for something in this price range. For what I intended to use it for, it does the job nicely.

This riser is the perfect height for my laptop and monitor to recreate a dual monitor solution for my home office. I put my laptop on it and my Samsung monitor next to it and they align quite nicely.

PROS:
The item required no assembly.
There are 3 compartments in a tray that pulls out that can keep pens, post it notes, and paperclips.
There is even still space underneath the riser to keep external hard drives, and other electrical cords.

CONS:
The width of this riser is just a titch too skinny to stow a keyboard underneath when it is not in use. If it were a little wider, I'd give it a 5 star rating.
The Fellowes branding plastic piece fell off after a few months. That could be a PRO to some others, though!

I ordered this not to place a monitor on it but put a PC Desktop mini tower. Don't ask me why, but it works great. I got a Dell XPS Studio 8100 with a larger Dell 23" LCD monitor. Having both on my two layer computer hutch with little room, just clogged up my work space and I had to put my tower behind the monitor to fit. This was just a pain, as I had to move the monitor to get to the tower.

I needed to place the tower onto my carpeted floor below the monitor. So I took a chance and ordered this unit. Works great. The tower fits perfectly on it, and it's off the ground enough where I do not have to bend over much to place my DVDs, CDs etc in, as well as using other functions on my unit. I placed it in a way, I can use the drawer that came with it to store parts and pc tools I need easy access too for my unit as well as small headsets for my media center. Very happy with this purchase. Now LCD monitor has been moved further from my eyes, and easier on the eyes when using keyboard. This purchase was alot cheaper that buying another PC desktop hutch desk.
